Note: Comtech Acquired TCS on 2/23/2016

ANNAPOLIS, Md., Sept. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) (NASDAQ: TSYS), a world leader in highly reliable and secure mobile communication technology, today announced the promotion of Ms. Lynne Seitz to Senior Vice President and General Manager of its Safety & Security Group. This appointment of Ms. Seitz, a 17-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, is the latest milestone in her career supporting customers' commercial and public safety initiatives.

News Facts

  • For more than 11 years, Ms. Seitz has worked at TCS, most recently as Vice President of the Location Products business unit. She was responsible for P&L of the company's wireless platform portfolio, including mobile positioning, infrastructure, satellite reference solutions and location request routing services. She led product development as well as long-term financial, marketing, and sales strategies for competitive and differentiating location-based services platforms across 2G, 3G, and LTE networks.

She also built and integrated teams for time-sensitive public safety services, including E9-1-1 and lawful intercept, while ensuring state and federal regulatory compliance across corporate products and services.
