Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $5.0 Million Blue Force Tracking Order for Its Mobile Data Communications Transceivers

MELVILLE, N.Y., Jun 08, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ:CMTL) announced today that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., has received a $5.0 million order for mobile data communications products.

The order is for the supply of mobile terminal transceivers for Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below - Blue Force Tracking (FBCB2-BFT), a battle command real-time situational awareness command and control system. Although the award relates to the FBCB2-BFT program, it was ordered against the Company's U.S. Army Movement Tracking System (MTS) contract, bringing the total orders received to-date against the $418.2 million contract to $154.3 million.
