Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $4.7 Million of Additional Orders on Its Movement Tracking System Contract

MELVILLE, N.Y., Feb 10, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ:CMTL) announced today that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., has recently received $4.7 million of orders relating to its Movement Tracking System, or MTS, contract with the U.S. Army Logistics Command. These orders bring the total orders on the contract to-date to approximately $93.0 million.
The orders received are for both equipment and services. The equipment orders are for mobile satellite transceivers, ruggedized computers, related hardware and satellite service time. The remaining orders are for installation and support activities in Kuwait, Iraq and selected Army bases in the United States.
