Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $4.6 Million of Blue Force Tracking Orders for Its Mobile Data Communications Transceivers

MELVILLE, N.Y., Sep 08, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ:CMTL) announced today that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., has recently received orders totaling $4.6 million for its mobile data communications products.

The orders are for the supply of mobile transceiver terminals for Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below - Blue Force Tracking (FBCB2-BFT), a battle command real-time situational awareness and control system. Although the awards relate to the FBCB2-BFT Program, they were ordered against the Company's U.S. Army Movement Tracking System (MTS) Contract. Total orders received to date against the $418.2 million MTS contract increased to $200.1 million.
