Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $1.7 Million Contract Award for High Power Amplifiers

MELVILLE, N.Y., Nov 15, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL) announced today that its New York-based subsidiary, Comtech PST Corp., has received a contract valued at $1.7 million for solid state high power RF microwave amplifiers from a major medical instrumentation provider.

These amplifiers are used as part of oncology care systems which provide an effective clinical radiation therapy solution for the treatment of cancer. This advanced form of treatment delivers complex doses of radiation while minimizing the effects on healthy tissues.
