Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $14.3 Million of Funding for Orders to Support Department of Defense Operations
MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
April 11, 2016--Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL)
announced today that, during its third quarter of fiscal 2016, its
government solutions segment has received funding for orders,
aggregating $14.3 million, to provide advanced communications solutions
for the Department of Defense. These orders, which will support mission
critical operations, include:
$8.4 million for tactical communications systems that provide
multimedia communications capabilities which convey encrypted voice,
video and data;
$3.1 million for field support of ground satellite terminals; and
$2.8 million for the delivery of training solutions.
