Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Awarded $5.5 Million Order for High Power Amplifiers MELVILLE, N.Y.-Feb. 14, 2002 - Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL) announced today that its New York subsidiary Comtech PST Corp. received a $5.5 million order from Siemens Medical Solutions, Inc., Oncology Care Systems Group, for continued supply of RF Driver Amplifiers for their PRIMUS system.

Comtech PST's High Power Amplifiers are used as part of the Siemens PRIMUS oncology care system which provides an effective clinical radiation therapy solution for the treatment of cancer. This advanced form of treatment delivers complex doses of radiation while minimizing the effects on healthy tissues.
