Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Announces $8.8 Million in Funding to Supply U.S. Army with Hardware
MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
November 8, 2016-- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL),
announced today that during its first quarter of fiscal 2017, Comtech'sCommand & Control Technologies Group, which is part of its Government
Solutions segment, received an additional funded order of $8.8 million
for its Secret Internet Protocol Router and Non-Secure Internet Protocol
Router Access Point (SNAP) Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) satellite
systems.
To-date, Comtech has received $71.5 million of funded orders against the
$91.0 million contract ceiling. The U.S. Army Project Manager for the
Warfighter Information Network - Tactical (PM WIN-T) Commercial
Satellite Terminal Program is funding this procurement through the
Army's GTACS contract vehicle.
