Comtech Telecommunications Awarded Multi-million Dollar Order for Satellite Terminal Equipment Melville, New York - March 2, 2001 - Comtech Telecommunications Corporation (Nasdaq: CMTL) announced today that its Arizona subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corporation, received a multi-million dollar order for satellite earth station transceivers and modems from Globecomm Systems, Inc (Nasdaq: GCOM), a leading global provider of end-to-end satellite-based communications solutions.

The equipment will be utilized in transportable satellite earth terminals, which will be used as remote earth stations with a mission of worldwide deployment. This follow on order was awarded based on the past performance of previously supplied similar equipment and terminals.
